The wounds that cannot be seen sometimes hurt the most. 💔🗣️
📍When we talk about child abuse, our minds tend to look for physical signs. Yet, there is a form of violence that is extremely widespread, highly destructive, and—unfortunately—often normalized: psychological violence, or emotional and verbal abuse.
💬Constant shouting, insults, labeling (“You’re clumsy,” “You’re good for nothing,” “I’m fed up with you”), comparing the child to others, or intentionally ignoring their emotional needs (the silent treatment) are not disciplinary methods; they are acts of psychological violence.
The words a child repeatedly hears from their parents or caregivers do not simply vanish into thin air. They are fully internalized and, over time, become the child’s own inner voice. A child raised amidst criticism won’t learn to be better; instead, they will learn to hate themselves and believe they are unworthy of love.
👇How can we change this? Small steps toward safe communication:
✨ Correct the behavior, not the child’s identity: Instead of “You’re a bad boy/girl!”, try “What you did just now wasn’t right. Let’s see how we can fix it.” ✨ Validate their emotions, even the difficult ones: Instead of “Stop crying over something so silly—you’re a big kid now!”, try “I see you’re very upset, and it’s okay to cry. I’m here with you until you feel better.”
✨ Apologize when you make a mistake: We all lose our patience sometimes. If you have shouted, go to your child, get down to their eye level, and say: “I’m sorry I shouted at you. I was very tired and stressed, but it wasn’t your fault. I love you.” This gesture doesn’t undermine your authority; instead, it teaches the child about emotional responsibility.
True parenting is built on connection, firm boundaries, and deep respect—not on fear, humiliation, and control. The right to safety means, above all, a home where the child’s spirit is protected.

🫶 Thanks to funds raised through the “2% Campaign,” we were able to purchase and provide clothing vouchers for school-aged children affected by domestic violence.
👨‍🦱👩‍🦰 For a child, the right school clothes mean more than just ordinary garments; they represent dignity, comfort, and the feeling of being seen and supported.
We are delighted that, together, we can turn a portion of the contributions redirected through the “2% Campaign” into support for children in need of protection and care.
🙏 We sincerely thank everyone who chose to redirect 2% of their income tax to A.O. Artemida!
Every contribution, regardless of the amount, made this support possible.
🔒 Out of respect for privacy and to protect the children’s identities, we will not publish photos of them. Instead, we are showing you the vouchers that reached them.

🌎Thanks to your generosity, 5 children from the Drochia Placement Center will step into the new school year with new school bags and all the necessary supplies.
Our team distributed the carefully prepared school bags. The joy in the children’s eyes and the enthusiasm with which they discovered the supplies confirm that our community can do wonderful things together.
🙏We thank each and every one of you for each donation and distribution! Thanks to you, the first sound will be one full of trust for these children.

Thanks to you — donors, partners, followers and everyone who chose to get involved — we managed to raise the necessary funds to prepare the children in the Drochia placement center for the new school year.
Your donations turn into concrete things for the children:
📚 school supplies – notebooks, writing instruments and other necessary materials;
🎒 schoolbags suitable for each age category;
✏️ fully equipped schoolbags, carefully prepared before reaching each child.
So our campaign does not end here. Next comes the purchases, preparation and distribution of the schoolbags.

🌐 The digital world: a huge place of fun and play or a minefield for your child? 📱
✨The online environment offers our children unlimited access to knowledge, games and friends. However, with this open door to the virtual world, the risks also become greater and harder to notice.
Cyber predators/aggressors, cyberbullying and exposure to violent or inappropriate content are real risks.
Protecting children from the digital age does not mean banning them from using phones or technology. In the long term, total bans are not a solution. It means teaching them how to navigate safely.🛡️
🗣️👥Children need guidance and our conscious presence, not just restrictions.
🔐 3 golden rules for your child’s digital safety:
1️⃣ Establish “house rules” for devices together
⏱️Set clear time limits and establish technology-free zones – for example, no phones at the table or in the bedroom x time before bedtime.
You can use parental control apps, but explain to your child why you are using them.
2️⃣ Protect personal data📲
Teach your child that their personal data (name, surname, address and name of school, home address or phone number) is personal information and should not be given to strangers online.
A photo or other personal information posted on the internet can be saved, shared and used in other contexts, even if it is later deleted.
3️⃣ Keep the door open for dialogue💬
The most powerful safety filter is the child’s trust in the parent.
Tell your child that they can come to you if they see something suspicious online that scares them, makes them feel uncomfortable, or if a stranger asks for photos or personal information.
And, most importantly, assure them that you will not react with anger and that you will not take away their phone as punishment.
Just as we would not leave our children alone in an unfamiliar city at midnight, we should not leave them without guidance in such a vast online space that they do not yet know how to navigate.💻

No one has the right to make you suffer, threaten you or humiliate you in your own home🏠. The state and the law offer concrete tools to ensure your peace of mind, and the most important of them are the Emergency Restraining Order and the Protection Order.
If you are a victim of domestic violence, it is essential to know that you can obtain rapid protection absolutely free of charge:
✅ Emergency Restraining Order🚨: It is an administrative act issued on the spot by the Police (for a period of up to 10 days), if there is an imminent risk to your life or integrity. It can force the aggressor to leave the home immediately, even if he is the owner.
✅ Protection Order 🛡️: it is a legal act issued by the court through which protective measures are applied in favor of the victim of violence. The purpose of the order is to provide assistance and safety to the victim and her children, by imposing strict restrictions on the aggressor. Protective measures apply for a period of up to 6 months. However, there are exceptions regarding the duration:
• The term can be extended if a repeated application is submitted or if the aggressor does not comply with the conditions provided
✅ Legal Assistance⚖️: You have the right to a lawyer to represent you and guide you through this entire process.
You are not alone before the law👥. There are organizations and specialists ready to explain each step to you, help you with filing a complaint and ensure that your voice is heard.
