2️⃣6️⃣ members of the Ialoveni social assistance department participated in the training workshop in the context of supporting the training initiative by UNFPA Moldova of members of multidisciplinary teams on legal aspects.
▶️The workshop took place on September 2️⃣0️⃣ and lasted 4 hours where the national and international legislation in preventing and combating family violence was discussed.
📣 On the part of the participants, a major interest was observed in the case of assisting the victim of family violence and offering correct legal advice.
💬The participants asked questions about the intersectoral procedures for identifying, evaluating, referring, assisting and monitoring cases of family violence. Ensuring the protection of the victim of domestic violence.
👉The activity is carried out within the regional program “Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence”, financed by the European Union and implemented by UN Women Moldova and UNFPA Moldova.
