🔔For more than a year, the mobile teams from the Artemida Public Association card, composed of a psychologist, social worker and lawyer, have been offering support to refugees and host families.
👩💻Each team member is well trained, motivated and prepared to respond effectively to the immediate needs of refugees.
👉Today we are going to talk about the psychologists within the AO Artemida mobile teams – those people who know best how and when to act so that the person opens up to communication. Specifically, through discussions with the psychologist, refugees can obtain that emotional support so important to them and receive the necessary information to overcome crisis situations.
📌And if we are to talk about what makes the psychologists in the #SafeSpaceArtemida framework not to give up in difficult situations, the answer is a common one: the desire to help people in crisis and their words of thanks to the team.
💬Psychologist: “When an emotionally exhausted and exhausted person embraces you and with tears in his eyes thanks you for listening to him and offering emotional support, this makes you not give in to challenges and help as many people as possible”.
