We are happy when in peace and quiet we can see our friends and relatives again at various events, but we cannot say the same about our neighbors in Ukraine who are now living a difficult time.
📍 In this context, on March 22, 2024, the Artemida Public Association in partnership with I.P Liceul Teoretic Ștefan cel Mare organized an event to raise awareness among refugees, the host community and residents of Drochia about GBV and the need to strengthen efforts to overcome the crisis humanitarian.
🧡Together we can stop gender-based violence, this was the message we conveyed during the event being in the context of the humanitarian crisis in the neighboring country and we were happy to assist refugees together with host people, local public authorities and the whole community.
📍📍 In the second part of the activity, in the context of the integration of the perspective of gender equality and the perspective of the environment, with the support of the Drochia Exceptional Situations Section of IGSU 🚒, together with all those present at the event we carried out an activity of greening the spaces by planting a mini park.🌳🌳🌳
🧡In this context, we thank our partners UNFPA Moldova who financed and supported this initiative and because they share the same values and vision as ours, so citizens and people displaced or refugees in our country have access to the services of #SpațiiSigure and in the city of Drochia.
