48 people, members of the Multidisciplinary Teams from Straseni and Falesti, received training in the psycho-social and legislative field in terms of preventing and combating domestic violence, where they learned how to react jointly to cases of domestic violence, in the result of a mentoring program developed by #UNFPA in partnership with the Artemida Public Association.

During October-December 2021, as a result of a mentoring program carried out by #UNFPA in partnership with the Artemida Public Association, members of the multidisciplinary teams from Straseni benefited from the most relevant psycho-social and legislative training on identification, assistance, the role of each actor in cases of domestic violence. They were also trained on how to provide efficient services to the beneficiaries, identify the best solutions in such cases and apply the tasks that contribute to: 1) identification, notification, initial assessment and taking over the cases of victims / potential victims of FV and THB; 2) detailed and multidimensional assessment of the situation of the beneficiaries victims / potential victims of FV and THB; 3) planning of specialized and support services, as well as other interventions necessary for the rehabilitation of the beneficiaries, both the victims and the aggressor; 4) providing services and interventions to assist children victims of domestic violence, as well as adults victims of domestic violence in obtaining and using appropriate services and initiating legal proceedings; 5) monitoring and re-evaluating the progress made, decisions, specialized interventions; 6) the stage of concluding the process of providing the specialized services and interventions with the post-service minotorization and closing the case; In the context of preventing and combating domestic violence, this project was well structured, effective and led to the strengthening of professional capacities for EMD in Straseni district. The mentoring program is carried out within the regional program “Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence”, funded by the European Union in the Republic of Moldova and implemented by UN Women Moldova and #UNFPA.
