Thanks to the support of the OAK Foundation through the Association for Community Relations in Romania, on 14.03.2024, 2️⃣0️⃣ representatives of the Drochia Police Inspectorate benefited from a training workshop on the topic of Effective Police Intervention in cases of family violence and GBV.
👩💼The workshop was moderated by the expert Tatiana Catană and was based on National and International Legislation regarding the prevention and combating of family violence and gender-based violence.
💬The participants of the workshop were active, asking questions from their own practice and evidently received the clearest and most concrete answers from a legal point of view in preventing and combating family violence and gender-based violence.
👉Also, special attention was drawn to the rights of victims of family violence and gender-based violence and the role of the police in the protection of victims of family violence and gender-based violence.
📌In this context, we would like to thank the Oak Foundation and the Association for Community Relations for the support provided and the opportunity to be continuously trained regarding the latest legislative changes in preventing and combating family violence and gender-based violence.
