Thanks to the support of the OAK Foundation through the Association for Community Relations in Romania, on 24.04.2024, 34 social workers from STAS Drochia benefited from a workshop with the theme “Consolidating the knowledge and skills of social workers from STAS Drochia regarding the intervention in cases of gender-based violence and family violence”.
👩💼The workshop was moderated by Ina Gradinaru – Coordinator of the assistance and counseling program for survivors of violence from the Artemida Public Association.
The workshop was based on:
• The intervention of professionals from the territorial social assistance structures at the level of APL I and II in cases of family violence.
• Identifying and recording cases of violence.
• Procedure for assessing risks and ensuring urgent protection measures for VF victims.
• VF case reporting and referral procedure.
• Case management in VF cases. Protection measures for survivors of violence.
🙏 In this context we would like to thank the Oak Foundation and the Association for Community Relations for the support provided and the opportunity to be continuously trained in the latest techniques and methods in preventing and combating family violence and gender-based violence.
