Today, 29.11.2019, 27 members of the Multidisciplinary Teams (social workers, mayors, family doctors, teachers and so on) from 8 localities of Drochia district: Gribova, Hăsnășănii Noi, s. Drochia, Miciurin, Zgurița, Pervomaiscoie, Maramonovca and Șalvirii Vechi participated in the workshop “Focus discussions – group with professionals – members of the EMD from the Drochia rayon on the activity of identification, assistance and referral of cases of gender-based violence and violence family within the National Referral System “within the project” Improved local services for preventing and combating domestic violence “, with the financial support of the Government of Sweden and UN Women Moldova.
The workshop was organized by the Assistance and Counseling Center for victims of domestic violence “Ariadna” and the Assistance and Counseling Center for Family Aggressors from Drochia.
The focus of the focus group discussions was to identify the perceptions, opinions, beliefs, attitudes and recommendations of the professionals regarding the common coordinated response to the cases of gender-based violence and domestic violence.
