✏️We continue the activities of the #16Days campaign with two events to consolidate knowledge and exchange good practices.
👮♀️👮♂️Increasing the capacity of frontline police officers to intervene effectively in cases of domestic violence, ensuring the protection of victims and compliance with the legislation – this was the general objective of the activity.
📆In this context, between 03.12.2024 and 04.12.2024, two training workshops were organized for two teams of 25 frontline police officers each from the Drochia, Rîșcani and Glodeni districts with the following objectives:
1. Improving the identification and intervention in cases of domestic violence.
2. Familiarization with the legal framework and judicial procedures.
3. Developing inter-institutional collaboration skills.
4. Simulating intervention in cases of Violence based on case studies.
👩⚖️ The workshop trainers Victoria Robu – Judge in the Drochia Court and Diana Turenco Prosecutor in the Drochia Prosecutor’s Office provided practical answers to the questions of the police officers who are the first to react and come into contact with people in cases of domestic violence.
The sessions were productive and combined the theoretical with the practical part where the participants were able to exchange experiences and mutual good practices.
The training workshops are organized by the Artemida Public Association in collaboration with the National Inspectorate of Public Security of the General Inspectorate of Police and with the support of the Oak Foundation through ARC Romania within the Institutional Grant of the “Artemida” A.O.
