How many more women must suffer in silence for us to understand that violence is not a “family problem”, but a deep wound of an entire society?
How many tears must flow before we all say, enough is enough?
📊 In the Republic of Moldova:
– 73% of women over 15 have experienced at least one form of violence.
– 40% have been physically or sexually assaulted by a partner.
– In 2024, 22 women were killed by men they loved or trusted.
– 57% have endured psychological violence, day after day, behind closed doors.
These figures are not simple statistics. They are mothers. Daughters. Sisters. Women who loved, forgave, hoped. Some are no longer here to speak. Others live with fear in their chest, in silence, as if their pain did not matter.
But your voice matters. Your life matters.
Don’t be silent. Don’t be patient. Don’t think about “what the world will say”.
Ask for help. You are not alone.
Every woman has the right to a life without fear. To freedom. To dignity.
