🧡 On December 9, the Regional Forum was held in Drochia with the generic theme “Challenges, solutions and regional best practices to combat gender-based violence and family violence in the Republic of Moldova”
🧡Thus, in the framework of a dialogue between representatives of civil society, of NGOs members of the National Coalition “Life without Violence in the Family”, representatives of EMD (multidisciplinary teams) and local authorities, challenges and good practices were shared from their experiences who managed to accumulate them in the field of preventing and combating gender-based violence and family violence.
🟠At the opening of the event, Mr. Thomas ALVETEG, deputy head of the development cooperation department at the Swedish Embassy in Chisinau, expressed his confidence that this forum is an important factor in supporting and motivating the representatives of the authorities, specialized services to take actions to ensure safety for women and girls affected by the phenomenon of gender-based violence and domestic violence.
