The Guide “MODALS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL INTERVENTION FOR PERSONS AFFECTED BY GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND VIOLENCE IN FAMILY”

The Artemida Public Association from Drochia thanks the Embassy of Sweden for the support provided and all the psychologists from the member organizations of the National Coalition “Life without Violence” who contributed to the development of the Guide “MODALS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL INTERVENTION FOR PERSONS AFFECTED BY GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND VIOLENCE IN FAMILY”
The purpose of the program is to increase the quality of psychological counseling services and possibly contribute to the efficiency of the response of specialized services or psychological assistance in situations of family violence.
The way professionals communicate with people affected by the phenomenon of family violence greatly influences the therapeutic relationship. The empathic attitude and communication skills of specialists increase the trust of people affected by family violence in specialized services. Furthermore, the sense of safety and comfort experienced by survivors of domestic violence in interacting with the team of specialized services helps them to take important steps in changing their lifestyle, essential in managing the problems and overcoming the consequences of domestic violence.
This activity was implemented within the Institutional Grant of A.O. “Artemida” with the support of psychologists from the National Coalition “Life without Violence in the Family” with the financial support of Sweden Embassy of Sweden in Chisinau
