48 people, members of the Multidisciplinary Teams from Straseni and Falesti, received training in the psycho-social and legislative field in terms of preventing and combating domestic violence, where they learned how to react jointly to cases of domestic violence, in the result of a mentoring program developed by #UNFPA in partnership with the Artemida Public Association. Lilia Malachi – Deputy Head of DGASPFC Falesti: Employee training is always a successful investment, because it involves benefits in 2 directions. First of all, the employer helps his employees to reach their full potential. Second, through employee development, DGASPFC develops itself, thus investing in the prosperity of its own future. This leads to the conclusion that any organization must strive to capitalize on its employees and invest in their continued development either identifying partners who will do this in other ways. Thanks to a lasting partnership between A.O. „Artemida”, drochia town and DGASPFC Fălești were organized and carried out between October-December 2021, trainings with themes in the field of Domestic Violence for employees of DGASPFC Fălești, responsible for prevention, assistance, monitoring cases of domestic violence, members of local EMDs. The purpose of this training program was to improve the intervention capacities of local specialists, members of multidisciplinary teams in Falesti district for the protection and assistance of victims of domestic violence and referral of family perpetrators to specialized services, and strengthening inter-sectoral cooperation. members of the local and district EMD in Fălești in cases of domestic violence. All training activities were carried out on the basis of an agenda built on two aspects: Training for EMD and for Training of trainers in the field of legislation and on psycho-social aspects. As a result of the training:

The trainers discussed and analyzed some methods and techniques of working with the victim of VF. Proposals: – the specialists would need a guide in which the techniques of working with the aggressor are stipulated, an operational manual in which they would have clearly described the assistance of the victim as well as activities to prevent VF. There is a need to develop and approve a VF prevention program, which would involve representatives of various structures: medical, educational, police, social assistance, probation, etc. Finally I would conclude: the trainings formed new / in-depth knowledge + developed skills + modeled attitudes = modified behavior / improved performance :! better services! better satisfaction of the needs of the beneficiaries! Thanks to A.O. “Artemida” for training opportunities and trainers involved in this training process. We hope that our partners will be open to other training activities that are equally useful and necessary. The mentoring program is carried out within the regional program “Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence”, funded by the European Union in the Republic of Moldova and implemented by UN Women Moldova and #UNFPA.
