Today marks a key moment in the fight against domestic violence!
The Artemida Public Association has signed a strategic Partnership Agreement, alongside the National Probation Inspectorate (Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova), the State University of Moldova, and Gender-Centru.
This historic partnership allows us to unite our forces, academic expertise, and institutional resources to address an essential issue: the development of programs targeting domestic abusers.
We are committed to providing support, including financing for the evaluation and development of the new intervention framework, with the support of Sida through the Embassy of Sweden in Chișinău, within the project “Preventing Violence against Women” implemented by A.O. Artemida.
Our common objective is clear: to review and create modern, science-based programs that will be applied consistently and effectively at the national level. A central component will be the professional training of probation counselors.
We are proud to contribute to the development of modern mechanisms for social reintegration and to ensure a safer future for all.
