We are happy when in peace and quiet we can see our friends and relatives again at various events, but we cannot say the same about our neighbors in Ukraine who are now living a difficult time.
In this context, the Artemida Public Association in partnership with the Drochia City Hall and the Drochia Culture Section organized an awareness event, informing refugees and the host community about GBV and the need to strengthen efforts to overcome the humanitarian crisis.
Together we can stop gender-based violence, this was the message we sent during the event on Friday, being in the context of the humanitarian crisis in the neighboring country and we were happy to assist refugees together with host people, public authorities local and the whole community, really an awareness event.
That’s why we want to thank our partners UNFPA Moldova who financed and supported this initiative and because they share the same values and vision as ours, so citizens and displaced or refugee people in our country have access to #SafeSpaces services even in the city of Drochia.
As promised, below we attach the pictures from the event.
