🌟Dear community, as you already know, at the end of April we signed 3 subgranting contracts within the Subgranting Program for the Prevention and Combating of Domestic Violence (DV) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) supported by the Embassy of Sweden in Chisinau.
Today we want to introduce you to one of the 3 organizations, namely our colleagues Moldova.org – a young, ambitious and active team.
Moldova.org is one of the longest-running independent media organizations🎥📸 in the Republic of Moldova (since 1997). Their mission is to tell real, deep and human stories that contribute to a more empathetic, informed and aware society. They have great faith in the power of narrative journalism to rebuild trust between people and combat stereotypes and polarization.
🔊Their vision is a Moldova where the voice of the citizen is heard📢, where the media not only informs, but also creates bridges of understanding between communities, generations and perspectives.
In 2019 they completely abandoned classic news and published multimedia content – narrative texts📄, documentary videos📹, podcasts🎞– with a focus on topics such as human rights, social justice, mental health, gender equality and the realities of the diaspora.
Through their empathetic and deeply human approach, they want not only to reflect reality, but to tame it – with care, responsibility and attention to nuances.
