Thermometers show extreme temperatures, and general recommendations urge us to stay sheltered. However, for victims of violence or people in crisis situations, isolation and emergency do not take into account the weather forecast.
That is why the Mobile Safe Space Teams for Women and Girls. Women and Girls Safe Space are on the road today🚚.
🌤️Even under the scorching sun, A.O. Artemida specialists travel kilometers to the villages in the region to provide the vital support that our beneficiaries need.
🚗 Why does the intervention continue, regardless of the weather?
• Emergency has no season: Crises are not postponed because of high temperatures. A helping hand extended in time can save a life.
• Isolation is harder during the heat wave: For vulnerable or immobile beneficiaries in remote communities, access to resources or counseling becomes even more difficult these days.
• Total dedication: Our psychologists and social workers continue their mission with professionalism, offering counseling, primary care, and direct support where needed.
